For citizens of Spain, the following must be taken into account:

• There is the Agreement on Reciprocal Recognition and Exchange of Driving Permits or Licenses, signed on July 31, 2002, in force since January 16, 2003.
• The licenses issued by the Kingdom of Spain authorize driving up to a maximum period of 1 year from entering the country.
• When driving, Spanish citizens must have a license issued by a competent authority of the Kingdom of Spain, a passport with entry to Argentina and be within a period of 1 year from entering the country.
