For citizens of Italy the following must be taken into account:

• There is the Agreement on Reciprocal Recognition in Matters of Driver's License Conversion, signed on July 17, 2003, in force since February 17, 2004.
• Licenses issued by a competent authority of the Republic of Italy authorize driving up to a maximum period of 1 year from entry into the country.
• When driving, Italian citizens must have a license issued by a competent authority of the Republic of Italy, a passport with entry to Argentina and be within a period of 1 year from entering the country.
