The national government reaches an agreement with Catamarca on the transfer of public works to the province.
Agreements were signed regarding public works and housing.
The Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos, received the Governor of Catamarca, Raúl Jalil, this afternoon at Casa Rosada for the signing of various agreements that stipulate the transfer and collaboration in public works and housing.
According to the framework agreement, the national government will transfer to the province a series of road, water, sanitation, housing, and social, educational, urban, and cultural infrastructure projects. Additionally, the national government will take over the continuation of another set of strategic projects that were already in progress.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chief of Cabinet for the Interior, Lisandro Catalán; the Secretary of Provinces and Municipalities, Javier Milano; the Secretary of Public Works, Luis Giovine; the head of ENOHSA, Bartolomé Heredia; the Secretary of Territorial Development, Habitat, and Housing, Rodrigo Aybar; and the Undersecretary of Habitat and Housing, Santiago Sánchez Sorondo.
From Catamarca, the General Government Advisor, Nicolás Rosales Matienzo; the National Senator, Guillermo Andrada; and the National Senator, Sebastián Nóblega, were also present.
In addition to Catamarca, the national government signed similar agreements with the provinces of Mendoza, Tucumán, Entre Ríos, Jujuy, Chaco, Chubut, and Neuquén a few days ago.
