Guillermo Francos to Present His Management Report in the Senate
The Chief of Staff will present Management Report No. 141, addressing key issues such as the Economy, Health, and Foreign Relations, and responding to the concerns of 48 senators, in compliance with Article 101 of the National Constitution.
Guillermo Francos, the Chief of Staff, will attend the Argentine Senate on November 27th to present his first management report to the chamber’s representatives on various aspects of the government’s progress, as mandated by the constitutional requirement.
This will be Management Report No. 141, which he will present in the Senate chamber, after which he will respond to the senators' questions.
On October 16th, the Chief of Staff sent a letter to the Senate offering his availability to present the report. This stage allowed legislators to submit their questions in writing, with a deadline for submission on October 23rd. During this period, 1,537 inquiries were received from legislators, which, after being consolidated, resulted in 1,093 questions from 48 senators.
With 438 questions addressed to the Chief of Staff, the Union por la Patria (UxP) bloc submitted the most inquiries, followed by legislators from the Frente Nacional y Popular, who posed 258 questions.
Next were senators from the Unión Cívica Radical (UCR) with 227 questions, and from the PRO Front, with 95. In descending order, the other blocs included Cambio Federal (27), Despierta Chubut (18), Juntos Somos Río Negro (18), Por Santa Cruz (8), and Unidad Federal (4).
Among the senators who sent the most questions were Alicia Kirchner (105, UxP), Pablo Blanco (92, UCR), María Eugenia Duré (72, UxP), María Inés Pilatti Vergara (58, Frente Nacional y Popular), Mariano Recalde (UxP, 56), and Oscar Parrilli (UxP, 55).
Number of Questions by Ministries and Areas
Regarding the number of questions directed to each ministry and agency, the list is headed by the Ministry of Economy with 491 inquiries, followed by Human Capital (219), the Chief of Cabinet (143), and the Ministries of Health (109) and Foreign Relations (57).
The list continues with the Presidency area (41 questions), and the Ministries of Justice (56), Defense (34), Deregulation and State Transformation (32), Security (25), and the Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA) (17).
Thus, Guillermo Francos will attend the Senate in compliance with Article 101 of the National Constitution, which stipulates that the Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers must appear before each chamber of the National Congress to report on the government’s management.
