The Chief of Staff, Nicolás Posse, and the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, received Jane Fraser, the Executive Director of Citigroup, at Casa Rosada today.

During the meeting, executives from the US-based banking sector positively received the economic policies and measures being promoted by the Argentine government, led by President Javier Milei.

In this regard, representatives from Citigroup expressed their intentions to continue developing the company in the country. Thus, the meeting emphasized the interest of foreign companies in investing in Argentina based on the economic reforms announced by the National Government.

Also present at the meeting were the Secretary of Finance, Pablo Quirno; Citigroup's CEO for Latin America, Julio Figueroa; and Citigroup Argentina's CEO, Federico Elewaut.
