Fabrizio Starace
Fabrizio Starace is Director of the Department of Mental Health and Drug Abuse in Modena, Adjunct Professor of Social Psychiatry and Community Mental Health at UNIMORE University, and President of the Italian Society of Psychiatric Epidemiology.
After a long experience gained at national and international research institutes, including the World Health Organization, he actively participated in the introduction and application of the Personal Health Budget in Italy, and currently coordinates the Emilia Romagna regional Early Psychosis Program.
In 2019 he was appointed as a member of the National Health Council. In 2020 he was called to be a member of the Committee of Experts in Economic and Social Matters of the Prime Minister's Office. Since 2021 he coordinates the Ministerial Technical Working Group for Mental Health.
