This section includes the publication of Alerts and technical Documents developed by the area of Statistics of JIAAC’s National Directorate of Control and Development (DNCGyD), based on the analysis and processing of great volumes of information (Safety Data) obtained throughout the accident or incident investigation process.
The alerts are developed from a qualitative and quantitative analysis of multiple variables that had been identified, which will allow the detection of recurrent behavior patterns or risk conditions. By publishing them and establishing concrete actions, these patterns can be corrected or modified in due time.
Furthermore, this section includes technical and dissemination documents that gather information on topics of interest for the public at large and for the aviation community in particular, or for any professional related to safety management. Some of the documents are the Statistical yearbook, the Helicopter Newsletter or the special report “The usual suspects,” which include the 5 priority topics identified.
