Autor: Ricatto, H.M.; Trucco, Veronica Milagros; Trucco, Fiorella; Silva, Mercedes Pilar

Alfalfa (Medicago sativa) is a major forage crop in Argentina, but its productivity is threatened by viral diseases such as alfalfa mosaic virus (AMV) and alfalfa leaf curl virus (ALCV).

This study evaluated the response of the Costera SP INTA genotype under non-infected, AMV-infected, and AMV–ALCV co-infected conditions, through the quantification of coumestrol in each condition and the symptoms expressed by the plant.
